  • The slide is headquartered in New York and was founded by Teymour Farman-Farmaian.
  • Slide to offer multiple services in a single interface including the facility of non-fungible tokens.

The slide is a rising startup that delivers user experience infrastructure for decentralized applications (dapps); it raised $12.3 million in a fundraising round for crypto-focused investment firms Polychain Capital and Framework ventures.

The fund collected in the fundraising will encourage Slide to hire more staff, construct its infrastructure, and distribute its products to dapps.

New users who want to interact with a web3 application often have to find a third-party connection for purchasing crypto and holding the assets to pay the crypto in the application.

Slide facilitates an all-in-one tool that keeps users within the application with a feature that includes non-fungible token(NFT) purchases using credit cards and a non-custodial wallet set up with an email address rather than a browser extension.

The chief executing officer of Slide Teymour Farman-Farmaian, in an interview with a crypto news website, noted, “We’re enabling any user, regardless of their background or experience, to be able to use Web3.” Further adding, he said, “It’s really hard right now for the average user to use dapps, and it’s hard for the incremental dapp to gain any exposure to normal users. Both sides are having trouble reaching each other.”

The slide is headquartered in New York and was founded by Teymour Farman-Farmaian(Ex Product lead at Coinbase), and Sam Hatem was serving as blockchain creator at Polymarket.

The Slide came out of stealth mode alongside the funding round in a closed launch working with a selection of partners. The company expects a full open launch by the end of the year.

Venture capital is an associate of Coinbase, USDC issuer Circle, and investment firm Outlander Venture also participated in the funding round few popularly known individuals also participated in the funding round like CTO(Chief Technical Officer) of Coinbase Balaji Srinivasan, Dragonfly Capital partner Ani Pai and Chief Executive Officer of Polymarket Shayne Coplan.
