Paris Saint-Germain & Crypto.com Launch AI-Generated NFT Posters

Paris Saint Germain (PSG) teamed with Crypto(dot)com for the release of a new series of matchday NFT posters made using AI generative tools. PSG had partnered with Crypto(dot)com in 2021 naming the football club’s first official crypto platform sponsor, valued at around $30 Million over 3 years.

The posters created by AI artist Benjamin will make their first appearance during PSG’s upcoming seven matches in the coming season. It will start on September 24 against Olympique de Marseille in France’s Ligue 1 soccer league.

PSG Pleased With the Involvement of AI Generated NFT Posters

Fabien Allegre, PSG Chief Brand officer said that they were delighted with this experience. The association with Benjamin Benichou has given them a better understanding of this AI tool which has opened up creative possibilities.

The club offers fans the chance to win the prints of this artwork, autographed jerseys from the players, and VIP tickets to attend PSG’s final home match of the season.

The unique collection of match posters created using artificial intelligence will only be available on the Crypto(dot)com NFT platform. They are airdropped to select account holders on match days.

Collectors of all seven NFTs can engage for a grand experience at the Parc de Princes season finale. The first NFT poster will be airdropped on September 24, 2023, for the Marseille match.

Not the First Time PSG Dealing With Web3

PSG had forayed into Web3 before as well. In 2020, the club made a licensing deal with the NFT fantasy sports game Sorare. Also, the club signed Lionel Messi in 2021 reportedly involving payments made through Socios crypto fan tokens.

Benichou is highly optimistic about PSG’s collaboration with Artifical Intelligence tools. This initiative makes the way for a new territory of artistic and creative expression where art meets technology.

Each NFT in the collection attributes a lively image based around Pairs, an infamous landmark, the Eiffel Tower. Benjamin Benichou, the artist completed the design artistically and then redefined them with the use of artificial intelligence.

A Series of free NT posters developed with state-of-the-art AI technology will be released consistent with 7 matches in the current season. It will start on September 24 when the club will play against fellow orb-enthusiasts Olympique de Marseille. Later in the season, fans can pick up the remaining NFTs during games throughout the year.

The fans can get the new collectibles on Crypto(dot)com come matchday and log in to make their claim. Random participants of the campaign will be rewarded with limited edition prints, VIP tickets, and signed shirts.
