McDonald’s mocks Crypto investors through Twitter

  • McDonald’s very recently trolled Crypto investors through its Twitter account.
  • The playful tweet attracted much attention from prominent entities like Michael Saylor and Tyler Winklevoss.
  • This Tweet didn’t turn out to be a joke for everyone, especially the crypto fans.

The food giant McDonald’s very recently tweeted something that got ample attention and around 100k likes in less than twenty-four hours.

It has pretty sarcastically teased the crypto investors, asking how they are doing.

Reactions on the Tweet:

This playful tweet also attracted the attention of a few famous entities. One of them was Microstrategy CEO Michael Saylor, who posted a picture of himself in which he’s wearing a McDonald’s hat. He says he’s doing whatever it takes to acquire even more. Interestingly the Bitcoin tycoon’s wealth took a flight during the latest crash.

A similar point was presented by Gemini CEO Tyler Winklevoss in which he jested about buying the big McDip.

On the other hand, the CEO of El Salvador Nayib Bukele recently posted his picture in a McDonald’s uniform. Apparently, the nation lost around $20 million because of Bukele’s poor Bitcoin buys.

Through their official Twitter account, McDonald’s even started conversing with significant cryptocurrency companies in a cringy and awkward way. It interacted with the Coinbase exchange.

But it seems like not everyone liked the mocking tone of McDonald’s, especially some cryptocurrency fans. Instead of getting along in the joke, they recommended the food giant to fix their broken ice cream machines.

The overall valuation of cryptocurrencies has fallen down to $1.6 trillion from $3.1 trillion, which is a significant fall down for it.

In comparison to November, Bitcoin and Ethereum both are down by around 50%.

This mocking through a Tweet seems to be an attention-seeking strategy of the food giant. As the crypto market recently witnessed a downfall, maybe it was expected from someone to make fun in some way or the other.
