KuCoin Launches Euro Trading, Eyeing European Markets

Despite digital assets gaining increasing attention in the latest European Parlament sessions, the crypto market is seeing growth in Europe. After Binance recently opened an Italian brunch, another leading crypto exchange — KuCoin — made a step towards European traders by launching EUR trading pairs.

New pairs including EUR/BTC, EUR/ETH, and EUR/USDT will become available for spot trading starting June 28. European traders will be able to make instant transactions with high liquidity and low fees.

Previously, the platform integrated SEPA payments allowing users to deposit EUR directly to their account for buying any available cryptocurrency.

KuCoin is the second top cryptocurrency exchange that made EUR trading possible. Earlier Binance launched five coins tradeable against EUR including BNB/EUR, BTC/EUR, ETH/EUR, SXP/EUR and XRP/EUR as part of its business expansion across European markets. In may 2022, the exchange also received regulatory approval in Italy and France.

The expansion of the presence of the largest crypto exchanges in a market as large and well regulated as Europe can be a positive signal for improved user experience, crypto adoption and better regulation of cryptocurrencies.
