In this Altcoin, Developers Shared a Mysterious Announcement: “Wait for Monday”

BLUR, the token of Blur, one of the most well-known names in the NFT world, has the same name, and stated in its statement on its official Twitter account that it will make an important announcement on Monday, November 20, at 23:00 Turkey time.

In the statement, the developers did not give any details other than a sentence saying “It’s time to take Blur to the next level.” In the post, it was requested to be careful that the links clicked on that date were shared by the official Blur account and to check the URL in case of fraud.

With the increased expectation following the announcement, the BLUR token price increased by approximately 5%.

The platform, which is thought to be in second place among NFT platforms after OpenSea, made a name for itself with its zero commission campaign on the latest NFT sales. In an environment where OpenSea could not continue its activities without receiving a commission, Blur’s ability to carry out this campaign was explained by the platform management’s release of tokens to the market.

Although there is constant speculation, the OpenSea platform does not yet have an official token and it is known that there are no plans in this regard.

Considering the lack of any details in Blur’s announcement and the fact that the concept of ‘announcement of the announcement’ is not welcomed in the cryptocurrency market, it is difficult to predict how the price of the token may react to the actual announcement.
