Crypto: MANA and TON, metaverse and utility

Mana is the crypto of Decentraland the famous land metaverse while Ton (Toncoin) is the official currency of the Telegram community.

Although with different purposes and genesis, these two digital currencies are performing very well and I will write about them for you in this article.

Mana

Decentraland is one of the hottest P2E projects, and like the other similar Play-to-earn entities it is booming.

Projects that offer rewards for play results are soaring and have outperformed (+60% at 30 days) Bitcoin’s already excellent result.

Overall, 2023 has started well for cryptos where all have, more or less, capitalized performances that have rekindled investor interest.

Play-to-earn market capitalization has risen to more than $6.5 billion resulting in a spillover of Decentraland’s (MANA) token performance as well.

Gamers who make their fortunes playing with P2Es such as Decentraland are increasing in number and exponentially prefer games based on blockchain technology.

Mana is the native token of the Decentraland metaverse and serves as a currency for buying or selling land but also goods and services.

Decentraland’s market capitalization touched 1.2 billion days ago and then dropped slightly, and the token has been doing very well since the beginning of the year.

In January, Mana jumped 105 percent while also touching 75 cents on the dollar.

This week Mana gained 16% but today it is retracing 1.12%. At $0.72 well off the all-time high of $5.

There is 1,855,084,191.78 MANA in circulation as of today.

Ton (Toncoin)

Ton is a decentralized crypto that cannot be traced back to Telegram but serves as the official exchange currency of the communication tool.

The value of the token is €2.19 with a market cap of €2.67 billion.

Today, the digital currency loses 0.13 percent with a volume of 32.82 million Euros for a circulating volume of 1, 22 billion Euros.

Telegram is slowly replacing WhatsApp at the top of preferences for the best communication tool by chat.

Its rise has brought in its lap the birth of its digital currency.

The first attempt to create an official Telegram crypto sank in 2020 by order of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The blockchain was named TON (Telegram Open Network) and the official digital currency would be Gram.

Pavel and Nikolaj Durov, however, did not give up and thanks to the support of the Telegram community created Toncoin.

Toncoin (TON) is to date, for all intents and purposes Telegram’s digital currency that relies on Wallet Bot, a wallet developed by the chat programmers themselves.

The purchase of TON is done through chat on the Wallet and is completely commission-free.

Ton is an exchange platform and a crypto and combines rapid steps with ease of use to facilitate mass adoption.

Toncoin is environmentally friendly, scalable, has nonexistent fees, and provides some of the highest levels of security achieved to date.
