Crypto.com and “Visa Masters of Movement”

Visa and Crypto.com are combining soccer, art and NFT for the fan experience ahead of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. To do so, they are inaugurating the “Visa Masters of Movement” auction on Crypto.com, the most prestigious crypto exchange company based in Singapore.

The auction inaugurated by Visa and Crypto.com features NFTs inspired by the iconic goals scored by five legendary soccer players. In Visa Masters of Movement, fans will have the opportunity to create their own personalized digital art on a digital field at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha, Qatar.

In addition, all proceeds from the auction will benefit the British organization “Street Child United.”

The initiative by Visa and Crypto.com: what it consists of

Official Payment Technology, Partner of FIFA, recently unveiled “Visa Masters of Movement,” a unique hybrid experience featuring a pre-event NFT auction and immersive fan experience at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

The auction done collaboratively by Visa and Crypto.com features digital art inspired by the goals of five legendary soccer players which have been minted as unique NFTs, now available on Crypto.com.

Not long from now, the experience will come to life on an interactive field at the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha, Qatar, and allow fans to create digital art.

In addition, there will also be an opportunity for auction participants to mint their own digital art as NFTs. This is all thanks to Visa’s partnership with Crypto.com, the official sponsor of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and a globally recognized crypto exchange platform.

In this regard, Andrea Fairchild, senior vice president and head of sponsorship at Visa said:

“As FIFA World Cup 2022™ approaches, we want to celebrate football, art and technology through the lens of what makes the FIFA World Cup™ so special – wildly impassioned fans, legendary athletes and for a few short weeks, the ability to bring the world together in a uniquely connected way.”

The Visa Masters of Movement auction in detail

Delving into the details, Visa and Crypto.com announce that until 8 November, soccer fans can bid on the Visa Masters of Movement NFT on Crypto.com.

As previously anticipated, the auction brings together five unique NFT artworks inspired by iconic FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup goals by legendary soccer players: Jared Borgetti, Tim Cahill, Carli Lloyd, Michael Owen, and Maxi Rodriguez minted as NFTs.

All the digital artworks were designed using an algorithm by the award-winning XK Studios, who transformed the players’ iconic movements into dynamic works of art.

At the end of the auction, fans with the highest bid for each NFT will receive their unique collectible item directly into their Crypto.com wallet, along with a high-quality printable art file and memorabilia signed by the legendary player featured in the NFT.

Of significant importance is also the fact, already announced earlier, that Visa will pledge all proceeds from the auction to the UK-based charity “Street Child United.”

Crypto.com Chief Marketing Officer Steven Kalifowitz said ahead of the auction launch:

“The FIFA World Cup is one of the most anticipated sporting events in the world and we are thrilled to offer fans a new way to participate in this epic event. We are thrilled to partner with Visa to bring Visa Masters of Movement to life and give fans the opportunity to create and collect the most collectible items at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which will live forever on the blockchain.”

Visa and Crypto.com put the user in the spotlight: the initiatives

In addition to the ” Visa Masters of Movement” auction, Visa and Crypto.com are giving ways to demonstrate their care and attention to users. In fact, already with the creation of the Crypto.com VISA Card they provided users with many benefits and protections.

However, let’s proceed in order. With the auction initiative for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar 2022, Visa and Crypto.com are giving fans the opportunity to become real performers in the FIFA Fan Festival.

In fact, at the center of the FIFA Fan Festival in Doha, which we recall will be held from 19 November to 18 December, Visa is inviting thousands of fans to create their own legendary moves in the independent Visa Masters of Movement space.

Fans will step onto a digital LED field equipped with tracking technology to capture and transform their iconic moves into digital art. In addition to shooting on goal or showing off their skills while playing with others to create dynamic custom artwork, fans will choose the color scheme based on their favorite national colors.

The digital art will be emailed as souvenirs, and eligible fans can also choose to receive the minted digital art as a one-of-a-kind NFT.

During the immersive Visa Masters of Movement experience, fans can learn about new ways Visa enables the movement of money around the world, including emerging technologies such as cryptocurrencies and other digital solutions that provide more people with access to the global economy.

Visa has been the official payment services partner of FIFA since 2007. As a global supporter of men’s and women’s soccer around the world, Visa aims to provide experiences that bring people closer to the action.

Constantly anticipating the next development in payments, Visa provides the latest innovations in payments at FIFA’s official venues.

Furthermore, Visa is always looking for new ways to further its commitment to uplifting lives through the power of sports through programs such as Financial Football, a video game that combines entertainment and education in an action-packed virtual soccer tournament.

Crypto.com VISA Card: what it is and how it works

As anticipated, the partnership between Visa and Crypto.com is not new. Nor is the focus that Visa and Crypto.com place on all their users, offering benefits, rewards and new ways to be financially aware citizens.

Indeed, Visa and Crypto.com had already launched their Crypto.com VISA Card, the crypto credit card that allows users to pay by converting the crypto assets in their account to the local currency.

This service gives users a way to spend their funds without necessarily having to pay in crypto and also reduces the number of people who are unbanked, in other words, those who do not have a bank account.

The Crypto.com VISA card is universally recognized by all retailers, as Visa represents one of the most popular payment service providers in the world.

In addition, obtaining the Crypto.com VISA card is simple: each user must possess and stake their CRO for a period of 180 days for both the virtual and physical one.

Crypto.com VISA credit cards are many and all of them offer CRO rewards and many other worthwhile features that allow Crypto.com App users to save a lot of money.

Indeed, Crypto.com offers CRO token holders the following conditions: no monthly or annual fees and no upfront costs. There are many benefits to owning a Crypto.com Visa card, including rewards designed to meet the needs of consumers who are always on the go.

The Crypto.com VISA card is currently usable at more than 40 million point-of-sale (POS) locations worldwide and countless online retail stores. In addition, cash can be withdrawn from almost all automated teller machines (ATMs) around the world that bear the VISA or VISA Plus logo.
