Business Companies Posted Hundreds Of New Crypto-Related Job Vacancies Following Latest Layoffs 

  • Business firms are providing hundreds of job opportunities related to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
  • According to the latest analysis from cryptojobslist.com, large and small firms have posted over 500 crypto-related job vacancies in the last seven days.
  • On Wednesday, Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance exchange revealed that the firm is hiring for 2,000 open positions, on Twitter.

While many leading crypto firms are seen doing layoffs in recent months, business companies have opened up hundreds of job vacancies related to blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.

As per the latest analysis from cryptojobslist.com, large and small companies have posted around 500 crypto-related jobs in the past seven days. The website searched for job listings on jobs board Indeed to identify open positions in the crypto industry.

In the past seven days, London-based multinational professional services provider, Deloitte has advertised the most positions with 144 new listings. A financial tech company created by former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, Block Inc, is next in line with 59 positions. Remote positions have the highest number in most of the jobs. 

Further, Cryptojobslist.com revealed that in comparison to 388 new jobs listed in the previous week, there were 569 crypto-related jobs posted on Indeed last week. In a statement, a spokesperson from Cryptojobslist.com said that the latest job postings point toward the fact that prolific companies are now looking at the long-term value of cryptocurrency.

Changpeng Zhao, the CEO of Binance exchange, on Twitter, disclosed that the company is hiring for 2,000 open positions on Wednesday. Zhao, in a tweet, revealed that although it was difficult to say no to Super Bowl ads, stadium naming rights, and large sponsor deals a few months ago, however they did. 

Since early this spring, several leading firms have publicly declared that they have let go of 1,500 people in layoffs, meanwhile, the crypto market experienced a heavy massacre. Coinbase, the leading cryptocurrency exchange, announced a layoff of around 1,100 people on June 14, cutting most of its employees.
