Limit Break Bought a Commercial Spot for its Blockchain Game

  • Limit Break has bought a commercial ad, starring its blockchain NFT game, DigiDaigaku for SUPERBOWL LVII.
  • On February 12th 2023, around 50 Million people will be watching live in support of the DigiDaigaku Community.

On Oct. 13 2022 Gabriel Leydon, CEO of Limit Break, announced in a long Twitter thread that its blockchain gaming firm, Limit Break, bought a $6.5 Million commercial ad. He added that it is a first for a blockchain gaming community to own a Super Bowl ad that may be viewed by more than 50 Million live viewers and tens of Millions more online.

As Leydon mentioned in the tweet, there will be one DigiGaigaku Genesis and one Hero featured in the ad. Additionally it will run a contest for the community to win and get featured Digi in the Superbowl ad.

After spending months, whether to do this ad, the firm said that it would only do this if it could provide a cool Web3 experience which supports the DigiDaigaku community and then expands the Digi brand.

Limit Break wants the DigiDaigaku community to know as they care a lot and are willing to move one step further to support and grow the community. Leydon said that he personally watches and directs Billions of dollars in marketing buys, thus he can confidently tell everyone that a Superbowl ad (his 3rd one) is the most effective video ad that one can buy in the world.

However, he also stated that it’s crucial to Limit Break that not only just develop great web3 products for the existing crowd but also expand web3 to the rest of the world. He called this a big opportunity.

He explained that when someone buys a superbowl ad one also gets a ton of press talking about the ads, before and after the game. It is a huge event and he plans to take full advantage of it.

The Best Web3 Experience

As he said, this ad will be a web3 experience the world has not seen before. Without sharing too many details about the ad, Leydon added that there are going to be tens of Millions of people who have never heard of NFTs before watching, thus they make the ad more fun and interesting.

At present, web3 is going through some turbulent times, Leydon believes the only way forward is to expand the market as Web3 gaming will onboard Billions of gamers.

He lastly pointed out that this Super Bowl commercial is just a part of their plans. And he already made $ Millions in commitments in addition to this ad and will be considering more in the near future.
