Layer-1 Blockchain Venom’s Public Testnet Goes Live

The public testnet for Venom, a Layer-1 blockchain that runs off of the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), went live today. The achievement is a huge step forward in Venom’s roadmap as it gets ready to go live on the mainnet. As part of its expanding ecosystem, Venom has also released a number of internally designed decentralized apps in addition to the testnet launch.

Both ecosystem consumers and developers will benefit from the testnet design. It allows customers to utilize these dApps first-hand while enabling developers to test and debug blockchain protocols and dApps. The program aims to promote creativity and community development within the ecosystem.

The testnet may be used by developers and users in two easy steps. Install the Venom Wallet first on the smartphone by going to the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or on the computer by using the Google Chrome extension. Second, by requesting a free testnet allocation, users may get started quickly testing the Venom ecosystem.

“We’re excited to announce the launch of Venom’s public testnet, a crucial step towards our upcoming mainnet launch. With our highly scalable and reliable asynchronous blockchain, we’re confident that developers will be able to build innovative dApps, while users will be able to experience them firsthand,” said Peter Knez, Chair of the Venom Foundation Council.

The asynchronous Venom blockchain, which boasts 100k TPS of lightning-fast performance and a dynamic sharding feature that improves scalability and network resilience, will be available for developers to experiment with. To get things going, Venom has put together a collection of developer documentation to provide developers with the resources and know-how they need to begin building.

With its network-enhancing interoperability and user-friendliness for widespread adoption, Venom is a promising tool for developers.

Several dApps Make Their Testnet Debut

On Venom testnet, a number of dApps will premiere. By making transactions, experimenting with the built-in Venom wallet, and more, users may try them out.
