Sports Legends Like Serena Williams, Aaron Rodgers Lend Their Support To Bitcoin At Bitcoin Conference

The ongoing Miami Bitcoin Conference has attracted the attention of crypto enthusiasts lately. Popular sports stars have come forward to show their support for the flagship currency and talked about how it will be disrupting the payment world. Legendary tennis players Serena Williams, Aaron Rodgers of the Green Bay Packers, and Odell Beckham Jr are among the sports players to show their support for Bitcoin.

Beckham Jr Advises Investors To Dive Into Crypto “before it’s too late”

Rodgers believes in the bullish trend for Bitcoin, calling the leading cryptocurrency a hedge against inflation and the Federal Reserve’s other catastrophic decisions.

Meanwhile, Beckham Jr. pointed out how Bitcoin has become cool. Although he has just entered the crypto space, he is quite fascinated by BTC and altcoins. He too is excited to see how things turn out in the future. “I feel like it’s super relatable for all ages. I’m still learning every day,” Beckham Jr. added.

He further advised investors to enter the crypto arena “before it’s too late.”

The three athletes also believe that Bitcoin is great for people who had to leave college in order to become financially independent or played college sports.

Williams claims that there are many activities happening in the crypto world and Bitcoin is at the forefront of it. Rodgers says that there are high chances that the NFL could start paying players in Bitcoin and other crypto-assets.

This trend, however, has been going on for some time now, with Russell Okung of the Carolina Panthers starting it in early 2021. Okung declared that will be converting almost half of their salary, over $13 million, into Bitcoin.

Okung in a statement said money is not just a currency, but power. How it is handled at every step from the process of creation to dissemination comes under that power.

Okung believes the only way to push ourselves through the manipulated and corrupted economy that we have inhabited is by getting paid in Bitcoin. The Carolina Panthers player adds that through Bitcoin “we are reclaiming the power that is rightly ours” since it’s not only responsible for changing the status quo. Okung attributes the development to PAY MEIN BITCOIN of Strike and the Panthers front office. This is the acknowledgment of a new way, a new path, and a new future.
