The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has pushed back the decision date for Global X’s spot bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the Cboe BZX Exchange until December 22. The SEC has set up a comment period for the Global X Bitcoin Trust until late December and expects public comments on the proposal within the next 35 days. This delay was expected, as Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffert had previously predicted. The SEC also delayed a decision on the Franklin Bitcoin ETF until the beginning of 2024.
