Following Bitcoin’s Rally, South Korea’s Largest Exchange Reports Extraordinary Volume Surges in 5 Altcoins

Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, reported extraordinary trading volumes for several altcoins. The altcoins in question include Polkadot (DOT), Hedera (HBAR), Bitcoin Gold (BTG), Aave (AAVE) and Chiliz (CHZ).

The 4-hour chart for Polkadot (DOT) showed a 50-hour average volume of $207,000 on Upbit. However, the last recorded volume was at a staggering $466,000, an increase of 125.68%. On Binance, 4-hour volume was $947,000, while the last recorded volume was over $1 million, an increase of 34.37%.

Hedera (HBAR) also experienced unusual volume on the 1-hour chart. On Upbit, the average 50 1-hour volume was around $3 million, while the last recorded volume jumped to $9 million, a massive increase of 228.24%. While the 1-hour average volume on Binance was $5 million, the last recorded volume was $8 million, an increase of 49.39%.

Bitcoin Gold (BTG) was not left behind either, with the average 4-hour volume on the 4-hour chart appearing first on Upbit at $168,000. The last recorded volume was an impressive $650,000, an increase of 286.81%. However, Binance reported a decrease in volume, with average 4-hour volume at $29,000 and last recorded volume at $19,000.

Aave (AAVE), while the 1-hour average volume of 50 on Upbit was $1 million, the last recorded volume increased by 159.98% to $3 million. On Binance, the average 1-hour volume was initially $6 million, with a slight decrease in the last recorded volume.

Chiliz (CHZ) also experienced an increase on its 1-hour chart. On Upbit, the average 50.1-hour volume was $3 million, while the last recorded volume was $12 million, an increase of 301.44%. Binance reported that the 1-hour average 50 volume was $4 million and the last recorded volume was $5 million, an increase of 32.13%.
