Bitcoin Slips Past $42K, Whale Offloads MKR For DAI

Crypto News LIVE: Bitcoin, a digital currency curated in 2009, once again stirred a whirlpool of speculations among crypto market enthusiasts globally as the token’s price surged past the $42K mark recently. As of writing, the Bitcoin price witnessed a marginal spring of 0.70% over the past 24 hours and is currently trading at $42,405. Meanwhile, altcoins like Ethereum and XRP noted a 0-1% drop over the past day, whereas Solana noted an uptick of 3.55% in its price.

On the other hand, as per on-chain data revealed by Lookonchain, a whale address offloaded 2,658 MKR for DAI at an average price of $2,022 in the past 4 days. Intriguingly, the MKR price dropped over 7% since the whale started offloading, birthing additional inferences. Further, the address still holds 2,007 MKR, garnering significant attention globally.
