Polkadot (DOT/USD) has opened a call for proposals for its Decoded even. Developers and community members are asked to submit ideas for a workshop or in-person presentation, which the community will vote on. Polkadot Decoded will take place on June 29 and 30 this year.
Presentation formats
Polkadot Decoded is an inclusive event, so presentations for people with all kinds of backgrounds are welcome. To ensure the program is diverse and engaging, Polkadot has established certain presentation formats for proposal submissions.

For this format, the focus is on what the technology is capable of. The code is not at focus. Entrants are asked to share their vision of Polkadot and provide suggestions how it can build a better web and a brighter future.
Project presentation
In the so-called Lightning Pitch, entrants present their own project to the community, sharing important information and insight into the problems solved by their project. They inform the community why they’ve decided to build on Polkadot and how the technology helps fulfill project goals.
Use cases
Entrants are welcome to share specific use cases for Polkadot and demonstrate how the technology helps solve challenges. Use cases can include identity, governance, asset tracking, or gaming.
Tech talk
The tech talk is an expert view of the technology and use cases of Polkadot. It can include a deep dive into the technology of Polkadot or a project demo to present one’s work on a technical level. Project demo proposals must include a link to the project’s Github repo.
Workshop
In this format, participants dive into the technology behind Polkadot and share their knowledge. Proposals should include a summary of their educational goals. This is what they want the audience to achieve after attending their workshop.
Deadline
To make community voting easier, all proposals must be submitted in English. The submission deadline is March 21, 2022, 10pm CET.
All submissions have to be connected to Polkadot. Proposals that meet the requirements will be announced by the end of March and voted on by the community.
At the time of publication, Polkadot was trading for just under $18 and had gained 6% in the last 24 hours.
