Shiba Inu Developer Confirms ShibaSwap only Official DEX on Shibarium

The disclaimer came on the heels of a recent clash between Shytoshi Kusama and the team behind PawSwap.

Kaal Dhairya, a Shiba Inu developer, recently issued a disclaimer emphasizing that ShibaSwap is the sole “official” decentralized exchange on the upcoming Shibarium layer-2 network.

Dhairya made this statement in a recent tweet, as he cautioned that specific individuals are attempting to exploit the Shiba Inu brand and community connections for personal benefit. He advised community members and exchanges to conduct thorough research before engaging in any project.

In response, the Pawswap team stressed that there ought to be no “official Dex” on a network meant to be decentralized. “We just build what the PEOPLE want,” they added.

The recent disclaimer came after the ongoing clash between Shytoshi Kusama and the team behind PawSwap, a decentralized exchange looking to launch on the forthcoming Shibarium network.

Lucie, a notable influencer in the Shiba Inu community, has alleged that the Pawswap team is actively orchestrating a coordinated FUD attack on Kusama, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, and Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), the governance token for ShibaSwap. Lucie claims these attacks have been coordinated by former employees who were fired by Kusama.

According to Lucie, the Pawswap team fabricated a tweet attributed to Binance’s CZ, wherein he allegedly stated that he had divested his BONE holdings in exchange for “powerful tokens.” Furthermore, she contends that the team also allegedly commissioned a false advertisement intended to tarnish Kusama’s standing within the community.

Kusama responded to the alleged attacks in a Telegram message directed at DeFi Kraken, a member of the Pawswap team, by saying.

“This is my only warning to you. Stop nonsense. Stop f****** around getting people to sell BONE so you and your team can put your greedy paws on as much as possible in an attempt to rule Doggy Dao. You are not fooling anyone. Again, this is your last warning,”

Recall that Kusama dismissed speculations that he was associated with the Pawswap decentralized exchange last month. While he denied links to the project, he clarified that he is not necessarily stating that it is fake. Kusama also recently disclosed that he would stop following Shibarium projects as this move is often misinterpreted as an endorsement.
