Shiba Inu Announces Its Exhibition Date for Upcoming SXSW 2023 Festival

Shiba Inu has announced dates for its presentation at the SXSW 2023 festival.

Leading doggy-themed cryptocurrency project Shiba Inu has announced the date for its presentation at the upcoming SXSW 2023 in Austin, Texas. In a tweet today, Shiba Inu reiterated that the festival would be held between March 10 and 14.

Recall that in January, the organizers of the SXSW 2023 invited Shiba Inu and SHIB: The Metaverse to the festival scheduled to take place later this month. The festival will enable the Shiba Inu team to give attendees a preview of WAGMI Temple, one of the 11 hubs of the SHIB metaverse.

Commenting on the development, Shiba Inu said:

“We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to be featured as one of the XR Experience Spotlights, where we will be presenting the world premiere of the magnificent WAGMI Temple Hub!”

The Shiba Inu team also revealed details about the film screenings for the WAGMI Temple preview. According to the SXSW 2023 schedule, the WAGMI Temple preview will be shown at the XR Experience Program in the Congressional Ballroom at Fairmont between March 12 and 14 from 11:00 AM – 06:00 PM.

Marcie Jastrow and Sherri Cuono are listed as the directors behind the WAGMI Temple preview, while David Kern and Brandie Konopasek are listed as the producers.

The development comes a month after festival organizers selected two executives from The Third Floor (TTF) studio, Shiba Inu’s metaverse partner, to lead the panel of SXSW 2023. According to an announcement, the festival organizers added TTF’s CEO, Chris Edwards, and Head of Virtual Production, Connor Murphy, to the panelists.

Shiba Inu Gets Booth Number

Shiba Inu also announced that its team would be at booth number 701 at the SXSW 2023 festival to enhance attendees’ experience.

The team will be tasked with instructing interested individuals about procuring virtual lands from SHIB: The Metaverse and enlightening them about the Shiba Inu project.

It is noteworthy that the WAGMI (We’re All Gonna Make It) Temple is the first of SHIB: The Metaverse hub introduced last year. The metaverse team described the WAGMI Temple as “a zen-like realm with a calming sensation, meditation, and spiritual connection to the world.”

Shiba Inu has released several concept artworks for the hub since its introduction. In December 2022, the team took things to the next level by releasing the official images of the hub rendered using Unreal Engine 5.1.
