Former Terra Classic (LUNC) L1 Team developer Tobias “Zaradar” Andersen recently disclosed that he would be available if needed by the L1JTF.
In a recent conversation, Tobias “Zaradar” Andersen, the former Terra Classic (LUNC) L1 Team developer, expressed his willingness to lend a helping hand to the L1JTF if the need arises, despite his controversial departure.
Zaradar’s recent disclosure came on the back of a response to Redline Drifter’s suggestion on the appropriate approach for a TerraClassicUSD (USTC) re-peg.
Redline Drifter, who proposed the divergence protocol for USTC re-peg, highlighted the importance of utilizing USTC for an effective re-peg. He emphasized that the community and team would need to prioritize organic demand for the stablecoin.
Zaradar responded, reminiscing about his previous efforts in emphasizing this strategy and expressing frustration that his advice had not been widely heeded. He casually noted that people seemed to believe in the magic of self-fixing problems instead of taking concrete actions.
I have been saying that for over a year, I even wrote an article about it and yet no one seems to understand it. Including most of the “quants” 😂
So I guess we can conclude that people just don’t listen and seem to pray that things will magically fix themselves 🤷♂️ pic.twitter.com/7fMNzwSBMf

Commenting on the statement, Apollo, a pseudonymous member of the LUNC community, expressed their longing for Zaradar’s return, acknowledging the value of his experience within the development teams.
Zaradar revealed that, although he no longer works directly on the L1JTF he maintains regular communication with Vinh and Lunc Burn Army (LBA), two prominent figures on the team. He clarified that his interactions with them revolve around providing support by sharing his expertise and helping to alleviate stress.
While appreciating the numerous requests for him to rejoin the L1TF team, the developer reassured the community that his departure did not diminish his commitment to Terra Classic.
Just because I don’t work on the L1TF team any more does not mean I do not care, so while I appreciate the many requests for me to rejoin the L1TF, I think you can all relax knowing that you have very capable devs and if for some reason I am needed I will be there 🙏 https://t.co/X7Wo6JwoHa

He acknowledged the current developers’ competence and ability to handle the tasks at hand. However, Zaradar left the door open for a potential return, asserting that he would be there to offer assistance if circumstances necessitate his involvement.
Zaradar’s Controversial LUNC Departure
Zaradar’s willingness to lend his expertise has resonated strongly within the LUNC community. His departure from the L1JTF team had sparked controversy. Zaradar officially left the team in April after a clash with community members over his pay.
Following his departure, Zaradar has continued criticizing initiatives within the LUNC community, which he perceives as irrational. Most recently, he ridiculed the belief among LUNC proponents that LUNC’s price drops are tied to Bitcoin’s downward movement but not its consolidation when BTC soars.
Last month, amid prevailing market turbulence, Zaradar asserted that LUNC could drop to its all-time low if BTC plummets to $22,500. However, when LUNC skyrocketed by 36% earlier this month, he ascribed the rally to a pump-and-dump scheme, branding LUNC “a game of online monopoly.”
These comments further alienated the developer from certain Terra Classic community members. Nonetheless, his latest remarks underscore the deep-seated concern he still has for the project and the community.
