YZi Labs has launched the second season of its EASY Residency program for founders in Web3, artificial intelligence, and biotechnology. The new season will run in Dubai, San Francisco, New York, and Singapore, allowing teams to join from different parts of the world. Dubai will host the final demo day in line with Binance Blockchain Week.
The decision to operate across multiple cities came after earlier participants faced visa and travel delays. By opening hubs in several regions, YZi Labs aims to reduce such barriers and give more teams access to the program. Each location will hold events, workshops, and community meetups while staying connected through a shared platform.
$500K Funding and BNB Chain Partnership
This season includes a partnership with the MVB accelerator by BNB Chain, which has supported several startup batches in the past. Now, it will work with YZi Labs to offer founders more tools, access, and technical guidance across blockchain networks.
Selected teams may receive up to $500,000 in funding. This includes $150,000 for 5% equity using a SAFE agreement, along with $350,000 on an uncapped SAFE. The structure allows early capital access without immediate pricing pressure. The program is designed to support early-stage projects working on stablecoins, creator tools, AI agents, and biotech research.
Founders to Receive Support from Industry Leaders
Participants will get access to mentorship, workspace, and operational support during the eight-week program. Housing and meals are included to allow teams to focus fully on building. The program also offers sessions on product growth, hiring, and fundraising.
Confirmed guest speakers include CZ (Binance), Vitalik Buterin (Ethereum), Sandeep Nailwal (Polygon), and Matt Huang (Paradigm). These sessions will connect founders with experienced voices across crypto, AI, and venture capital. YZi Labs calls EASY Residency a place where builders can work across borders and grow without distractions.
Rolling Applications and Open Access
The residency runs until December 5, with teams able to apply at any time. There is a separate track for startups building on BNB Chain under the MVB program. Founder Ella Zhang said the residency draws from her experience at Tencent, Google, and Stanford GSB, aiming to back people who take action based on values.
Season 1 included 50 founders from 20 teams. The new season adds more funding, broader access, and deeper mentoring. EASY Residency continues to grow as a platform for early-stage innovation in Web3, AI, and biotech.
