The collapsing values in cryptocurrencies and crypto exchanges are reminiscent of the bursting of the dot.com bubble more than 20 years ago. Back then, most of these speculative stocks were listed on the Nasdaq. When the bubble burst, the Nasdaq index plummeted almost 80%.
It took nearly a generation before the Nasdaq surpassed its previous high.
