Kart racing game to be released on Steam after beta testing is completed.
Oh Baby! Games, a company focused on reinvigorating classic game genres for a Web3 audience, has partnered with media giant Paramount and unveiled an upcoming listing on the PC gaming platform Steam.
The studio’s flagship game, “Oh Baby Kart,” recently wrapped up its final round of alpha testing in anticipation of its move to beta. Once the beta concludes, the game will be available on Steam, one of the leading PC gaming platforms with over 30M concurrent users in 2023.
Details surrounding the nature of the partnership with Paramount are yet to be released, but it’s presumed that Oh Baby! may be working with Paramount Digital Entertainment. Paramount Digital Entertainment is a subsidiary of Paramount Pictures that is responsible for their video game distribution, which has previously worked on video game titles such as Star Trek and World War Z.
In addition to “Oh Baby Kart,” the team is actively working on two other releases, Oh Baby Party and Shogun Curse. The latter, Shogun Curse, is a rogue-like card battler game, with alpha testing to begin shortly.
Rewards for early adopters and testers have been teased as the founder Pas tweeted, “Our vision is long term. The reward on creating an empire with all of you comes later but there will be a perfect time to strike and we will win together.”
