The Shiba Inu has finally announced that the highly-anticipated Shibarium Beta will be launching this week, with the Shibarium Documents containing all necessary details set to be released in the coming days.

On February 27th, Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, launched a Shibarium intake form to invite those interested in working with SHIB. The intake system aims to expand Shibarium’s reach to professional companies and find the right validators for the Layer 2 solution.

Since introducing the Shibarium intake form, Kusama has revealed that many projects have contacted the SHIB team expressing interest in collaborating with Shibarium. To estimate the level of interest, a Twitter account focused on the Shiba Inu community, LucieSHIB, reports that more than 3,000 Shibarium intake forms have been submitted.

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, advised community members to refrain from purchasing tokens or products offered during the beta phase of the Shibarium development. Kusama also noted on Twitter that he would no longer follow potential Shibarium projects. He urged community members to conduct their own research before investing in any project, even if he has endorsed it.

In light of the ongoing progress in the development of the Shibarium Layer-2 network, Kaal Dhairya, a developer associated with Shiba Inu, clarified that ShibaSwap will be the only decentralized exchange officially recognized on the Shibarium network. In a tweet, Dhairya alerted the community about the potential for certain individuals to misuse the Shiba Inu name and its community connections for their personal gains. He urged the community and other exchanges to exercise caution and conduct extensive research before engaging in any project.

As a result of this announcement, the Shiba Inu Governance token and the native gas token of Shibarium, Bone ShibaSwap, have seen a significant increase in value. BONE is trading at $1.71, up 11% in the last day, with a 24-hour trading volume of $33,319,292 ($33.31M).
