Popular US politician and gubernatorial candidate in the upcoming general elections Shannon Bray has reiterated his support for Shiba Inu. Bray has supported SHIB, one of the leading meme coins, on multiple occasions. According to the politician, he is still buying SHIB, and the ShibArmy is a movement.
Among other expertise, Bray describes himself as a tech entrepreneur and a blockchain advocate. Responding to a tweet from a Twitter handle identified as SHIB KNIGHT asking what meme coins followers are buying, Bray said:
I get paid tomorrow, and I’m still buying SHIB. Nothing else will ever regain that traction, and people will come back because of @RobinhoodComms. Shibarmy is the movement.
In another instance, crypto investor and entrepreneur Zach Humphries tweeted that he is still bullish on SHIB. Bray responded with an emoji reflecting 100% support for Humphries’ position.
Bray has made public his intention to run for governor in North Carolina. He shared his plans in a pinned post on Twitter, telling the public that he would focus on education, the economy, and healthcare.
The politician promises to create a more business-friendly environment, cut taxes and regulations, and work to expand trade. Other promises in his plans include investment in infrastructure, technology, and education, which would create jobs and boost the economy.
Last weekend, SHIB fell below its yearly support at $0.00000779 to mark a new low for the year at $0.00000654, according to data from TradingView. The price has recovered slightly, trading at $0.00000682 at the time of writing.
SHIB’s price presents a bearish outlook with significant momentum in the short term. However, the meme coin’s supporters like Bray see that as an opportunity to accumulate SHIB tokens at a cheaper rate. They believe SHIB will find a bottom soon, ahead of a rally that could present significant gains.
