Trust Wallet, the top provider of multi-chain and self-custodial wallets, has made Ledger hardware compatibility available for the Trust Wallet Browser Extension. Users of the Trust Wallet Browser Extension may now gain from an additional layer of protection for their digital assets thanks to hardware solutions.
With this new integration, Trust Wallet offers Ledger customers a simple and adaptable method to access dApps, manage their assets, and move cryptocurrency between online and offline wallets, giving them more control over the security of their assets.
A balanced mix of Web3 accessibility via Trust Wallet’s online wallet capabilities and secure offline storage of digital assets through Ledger’s hardware wallet is made possible by the availability of both online and offline self-custody choices.
This Trust Wallet Browser Extension update now adds the multi-wallet capability and Testnets, giving users access to a more complete wallet experience. With separate private keys to provide a more secure solution, multi-wallet will enable users to create, import, and manage their various wallets based on multiple scenarios in one location, while Testnets will enable more developers and tech-savvy users to experiment with cryptocurrencies in an easy and manageable way.
Jean-Francois Rochet, VP of Transactions and Services at Ledger, said: “We’re delighted to provide more security to Trust Wallet users with this integration. Ledger and TrustWallet share the goal of empowering every user to self-custody and manage their own assets, which is the true ethos of crypto.”
Eric Chang, Head of Product at Trust Wallet, said: “We are happy to add support for Ledger as it provides another option for our users to manage their keys and securely engage with web3. Integrating Trust Wallet and a leading hardware wallet like Ledger provides people with the best balance of convenience, enhanced security, and functionality. People can access the wide range of new tokens, networks, and dApps connections through an added security layer – all in one place from their browser.”
