Zach Witkoff, the CEO and co-founder of World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the digital asset company backed by US President Donald Trump and his family, will formally co-host EastPoint:Seoul 2025. The Grand Hyatt Seoul will hold the invite-only forum on September 22, 2025. Hashed, Bloomingbit, and The Korea Economic Daily. are co-hosting the event.
Members of the Trump family and close associates, including Steve Witkoff, the U.S. special envoy for peace deals, and his sons, are among the founding members of WLFI. Also confirmed are prominent U.S. politicians Caroline D. Pham, Acting Chair of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), and Harry Jung, Deputy Director of the President’s Council of Advisors for Digital Assets.
Bo Hines, Strategic Advisor for Digital Assets & U.S. Strategy at Tether (formerly the White House digital-asset policy lead), and other senior executives from the two biggest stablecoin issuers, Circle and Tether, will also be present to talk about their business strategies.
In addition to representatives from the four main commercial banks (KB, Shinhan, Hana, and Woori), significant securities companies, asset managers, and huge corporations, the Korean side will be represented by MPs Min Byung-deok, Kim Jae-seop, and Lee Jun-seok.
SMBC Nikko Securities, Mastercard, PayPal Ventures, and prominent international exchanges including Upbit, Bithumb, and Binance are among the international organizations scheduled to take part. EastPoint:Seoul 2025 has the Sui Foundation as its title sponsor.
