The Potential New Twitter CEO Follows Shiba Inu

The discovery has raised speculations that she might be a Shiba Inu enthusiast or, at the very least, interested in the project.

Twitter is about to welcome a new CEO in the next six weeks. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the mystery individual might be Linda Yaccarino, a WEF task force chairperson. In a discovery that has elated the Shiba Inu community, she is observed to be following the official Shiba Inu Twitter account.

SHIB BPP, a community-driven account dedicated to updates on the Shiba Inu ecosystem, first called attention to the development in a tweet today.

Further investigations by The Crypto Basic into the claim suggest that it is accurate. Linda Yaccarino follows only 1,161 accounts on Twitter. One of these accounts has been confirmed to be the official Shiba Inu handle. Interestingly enough, she also follows the official Dogecoin account, Billy Markus, one of the founders of Dogecoin, and two more accounts affiliated with Dogecoin.

The discovery has triggered speculations that Yaccarino might be a Shiba Inu or meme coin enthusiast, as she does not follow any more crypto projects. The possibility has elicited reactions from the Shiba Inu community, as it could present an opportunity for potential additions to Twitter that would be favorable to Shiba Inu.

Elon Musk, who has served as the CEO until recently, hinted, on numerous occasions, at a possible integration of Dogecoin into Twitter. This was influenced by Musk’s persistent advocacy for the asset already accepted by Tesla, his electric vehicle company.

Unlike Musk, Yaccarino has no past records that link her to Shiba Inu or any crypto project. Her stance on cryptocurrencies remains a mystery, as there are also no public statements from her condemning or commending crypto or blockchain technology.

Despite the limited amount of information available, proponents have speculated that the fact that she follows the official Shiba Inu account could indicate that she might be a closet admirer of the project.

Yaccarino’s Position as Twitter’s New CEO is Still Unconfirmed

Recall that Elon Musk disclosed yesterday that he would be handing over to the new Twitter CEO in approximately six weeks but kept the individual’s identity a mystery. Following the disclosure, a report from CNBC suggested that Yaccarino might be the person in question, citing trusted sources.

Further citing sources familiar with the matter, CNBC reported today that Yaccarino has resigned from her position as the Chairperson of Global Advertising & Partnerships at NBCUniversal Media. This further heightened speculations that she might be the next Twitter CEO. However, neither Yaccarino nor Twitter has confirmed this.
