Tether International, S.A. de C.V. (TI) has released its Q3 2025 attestation, showcasing a remarkable financial performance. According to tether.io, the report, prepared by global accounting firm BDO, confirms Tether’s net profit surpassing $10 billion for the first three quarters of the year, underscoring its robust financial health.

Record U.S. Treasuries Exposure

Tether’s exposure to U.S. Treasuries reached an unprecedented $135 billion, positioning the company among the world’s largest holders of U.S. government debt, surpassing even nations like South Korea. This strategic reserve allocation highlights Tether’s commitment to maintaining stability and transparency amidst global economic uncertainties.

Continued Growth in USD₮ Supply

The third quarter of 2025 marked a significant milestone for Tether, with over $17 billion in new USD₮ issued, bringing the total circulating supply to over $174 billion. This growth cements Tether’s status as a leading digital dollar provider, offering users stability and global accessibility.

Strategic Investments and Initiatives

Tether’s diversification strategy includes substantial holdings in gold and Bitcoin, valued at $12.9 billion and $9.9 billion respectively. Furthermore, the company has applied for an Investment Fund License in El Salvador, aiming to expand its presence under the new Private Alternative Investment Fund law.

Additionally, Tether’s commitment to innovation is evident through its investments in AI, renewable energy, and P2P communication technologies. These initiatives are designed to empower communities and enhance the digital dollar ecosystem.

Financial Stability and Future Prospects

With a robust reserve buffer of $6.8 billion and proprietary equity approaching $30 billion, Tether continues to demonstrate financial resilience. The company’s strategic initiatives, including a share buyback program targeting institutional investors, further reinforce its market position.

Paolo Ardoino, CEO of Tether, emphasized the company’s stability, stating, “Q3 2025 results reflect the continued trust and strength behind Tether, even amid a global challenging macroeconomic environment.” As Tether maintains its growth trajectory, it remains a pivotal player in the digital financial ecosystem.
