Just weeks after its mainnet launch, Sonic SVM has rapidly established itself as one of the most vibrant new hubs for Web3 innovation. With native infrastructure supporting everything from DeFi and NFTs to fully on-chain games and memecoins, Sonic is showcasing the full potential of Solana-compatible high-performance chains.
Sonic SVM is the first Solana Virtual Machine (SVM) chain extension. Backed by the momentum of its recent Mobius Hackathon, it drew more than 250 project submissions. Sonic SVM is quickly assembling an ecosystem that highlights the scalability and flexibility of SVM technology.

CEO and co-founder of Sonic Chris Zhu said the expansion is a demonstration of the “versatility and performance advantages of Sonic SVM” he further said:
“These projects represent the beginning of a vibrant, interconnected ecosystem that’s building critical infrastructure across DeFi, NFTs, and social applications.”
Ecosystem Highlights
Sonic’s growing ecosystem includes several category-defining protocols, which include:
SEGA – A Next-Gen ve(3,3) DEX
SEGA is Sonic’s decentralized exchange, integrating ve(3,3) mechanics to align token holder incentives and liquidity providers. The platform has already achieved over $9 million in cumulative trading volume, $1.18 million in TVL, and a daily trading peak of over $1 million.
“Our ve(3,3) model creates stronger alignment and capital efficiency, while our launchpad is designed for the attention economy,” said a SEGA representative.
Chaos Finance – Sonic’s First Native Liquid Staking
Chaos Finance enables users to stake SONIC tokens while maintaining liquidity through sSONIC. It is also built on StaFi’s LSaaS framework. With over 765,000 SONIC staked and 754,000+ sSONIC in circulation, Chaos is central to Sonic’s DeFi infrastructure. It’s already integrated into on-chain gaming through FoMoney, which uses sSONIC as in-game currency.
What began as a memecoin launchpad has now evolved into Goodr, a user-generated content (UGC) platform bridging anime IP and Web3. Through partnerships with Japanese IP holders, fans will soon mint anime-inspired tokens. The platform will also launch a Sonic Meme Kit (SDK) for token creators, along with a strategic user acquisition partnership with SEGA.
Chillonic introduces a novel concept via its Chill-404 Protocol, allowing seamless conversion between NFTs and fungible tokens. This breakthrough model addresses liquidity challenges in NFT markets while preserving collectibility.
“We’re creating a new asset class that merges scarcity with liquidity,” said a Chillonic representative.
FoMoney combines classic gameplay with Web3 mechanics, combining 2048-style gaming with Fomo3D dynamics. Since testnet, it has attracted over 1 million players and generated 200+ million transactions. The game aims to serve as Sonic’s Game Asset Layer, linking token utility to immersive experiences.
About Sonic SVM
Sonic SVM is the first SVM-based chain extension on Solana, designed as a programmable attention settlement layer. Built on the HSSN network, it offers consensus-level validation of attention data, on-chain user analytics across dApps, and composable tools for building attention-aware Web3 applications.
