On February 27, the entire Shiba Inu community went crazy when Shytoshi announced the launch of the Shibarium portal. To get partnered or to gain access to additional benefits, one has to fill out the intake form. It will allow people to find the best projects and link them together with others who can help or assist.

Many SHIB influencers are sharing the latest updates on their Twitter handles and one such person is @LucieSHIB, a content creator and member of the Shib Army. While sharing the outlook of the form, the content creator apologized to Shytoshi Kusama and wrote “To ensure that your identity is safe, I have only filled out the form with the information I want to share.”

After this, people got confused about whether they had to go through the KYC process or not. But to their luck, another member of the community clarified this doubt. You don’t have to write your real name while filling out the intake form and KYC is completely optional.

Layer 2 Is Yet To Come

Alongside these developments, the team still doesn’t reveal the exact launch date, but Kusama has confirmed that the team is prepared to release it as soon as possible. He also changed the Telegram group name to “Shibarium Tech” and chat will reopen for everyone by the end of this week.

Shiba Inu’s price at the time of writing is $0.00001266, with a market capitalization of $6,955,839,864 and a 24-hour trading volume up by 3.81%. Now it stands at $213,566,255. At the same time, the circulating supply is approximately 549,063,278,876,302 SHIB as per the crypto market tracker CoinMarketCap.
