STKE’s NASDAQ listing creates a regulated on‑ramp for TradFi capital to access the Solana ecosystem through a publicly traded vehicle. The company expects the listing to accelerate validator growth via institutional partnerships and attract custody and staking service providers that meet regulated standards.
SOL Strategies pursued a NASDAQ listing to increase institutional visibility and provide a regulated investment vehicle for Solana exposure. CEO Leah Wald said the move validates the Solana ecosystem and creates new channels for institutional capital to access Solana infrastructure through transparent markets.
Existing Canadian-listed shares will remain on the Canadian Securities Exchange under HODL. OTCQB shares (CYFRF) will be sunset and automatically converted to NASDAQ-listed STKE shares, simplifying cross-border liquidity and consolidating trading into a U.S. national exchange.
