According to Bitwise Invest, public companies have bought 95% of their $ETH in 2025’s Q3, which amounts to 4.4M+ tokens.

BitMine Immersion is currently the largest Ethereum hoarder, with 3,032,188 $ETH in its reserves, or 2.512% of the total supply. The total value is over $12B.

Based on Coingecko’s data, Ethereum has a 3.67% treasury dominance and it’s growing fast amid rampant adoption. Bitmine alone purchased its entire 3M-strong $ETH pack last quarter and plans to capture 5% of the total Ethereum supply, taking a file out of Strategy’s Bitcoin book.

The general consensus is that Q4 will be massively bullish for Ethereum and the reason is simple: it’s the best ecosystem for developers by a wide margin.

As the Ethereum Foundation explains, Ethereum beats Solana by 44.4% in terms of active developers on the chain and outweighs Bitcoin by 65.3%.

This gap explains Ethereum’s recent success and outlines a clear trend – Ethereum will likely surge in Q4, while some predictions suggest a coming supercycle.

Analyst Merlijn the Trader hints at this exact idea after highlighting that 40% of the entire Ethereum supply is already gone from circulation.

The combination between $ETH’s increased scarcity and growing adoption rates could very well form the beginning of a supercycle towards mid-Q4.

Founder of MN Trading Capital Michaël van de Poppe agrees, saying that ‘$ETH vs. $BTC has barely started,’ suggesting that Ethereum may have entered the ‘ideal zone for buys.’
