This feat indicates that massive testing is ongoing on the Shibarium beta network, and could reflect the potential adoption rate the Shiba Inu L2 network will receive upon launch.
Shibarium, the layer-2 network solution for the Shiba Inu ecosystem, continues to make impressive strides during its beta testing phase. Puppynet, the beta version of the network, has recently surpassed the 14 million wallet threshold just four weeks after the developers relaunched it with an updated Chain ID.
Data from Puppyscan, the designated block explorer for Puppynet, shows that the Shibarium beta network now boasts a total of 14,061,584 wallets. The test network has achieved this feat barely a month after it was redeployed on March 24.
Recall that the number of wallets stood at 3,122,259 (3.12 million) as of April 13, after the testnet recovered from a downtime that prevailed for 14 hours. The current figure of 14 million shows that wallets on the test network have increased by 350% in just nine days – an impressive feat.
Moreover, Puppynet has continued to register increments in other metrics. Total transactions on the network now currently sit at 4,552,506 (4.55 million) with a daily transaction count of 68,782 at the time of reporting. In addition, total blocks processed by the network have increased to 489,457. The network’s average block time remains at 5 seconds despite the load.
The noticeable rise in various metrics and performance indicators is a clear indication that there is a considerable amount of testing currently being conducted on the Shibarium beta network. These metrics may be suggestive of the level of interest and engagement that Shibarium could potentially receive upon launch.
Meanwhile, Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), the governance token for ShibaSwap and the gas token for Shibarium, has witnessed surging interest. OKX recently highlighted the asset as one of the meme tokens it could potentially list, giving users the opportunity to choose among five different tokens.

From a total of 30K votes so far, BONE comes on top, with 61% of respondents demanding that the exchange list the asset over others. Users have 1 day, 23 hours left to vote before the poll closes. In light of this, OKX recently amassed 1.7 million BONE to become the 13th largest BONE holder.
