The team has released the first concept art of another hub in SHIB: The Metaverse.
Shiba Inu has released the first concept artwork of Dunes, one of the hubs in its metaverse project, SHIB: The Metaverse. The development team behind SHIB metaverse noted that the concept art of Dunes is shared to provide the strongest reference points aligning the creative outlook and aspect of the hub.
Like other hubs, Dunes is depicted in a black and white image, described as an early sketch. According to the team, the image is shared to give users a feel of how the hub will play an integral role in the metaverse.
“Black and white sketches and concept artwork include a strong, physical, powerful potential, especially in abstract artwork,” Shiba Inu noted in a blog post.
Details of Dunes’ Concept Art
Per the announcement, the inspiration behind the design of the Dunes concept artwork was obtained from several locations, including Great Sand Dune National Park in the Colorado United States, Dubai; Egypt; Sossusvlei Park in Namibia; and the Sahara Desert.
Furthermore, the development team revealed that it got the flora inspiration for the Dunes hub from Welwitschia, Nara Melons, Camel Thorn Tree, Bushel, Twigs, and Thorns.
The fauna inspiration for the hub also came from Dune Scorpion, Sidewinder Snakes, Giraffes, Cheetahs, Elephants, etc. Describing what effect SHIB: The Metaverse landowners would experience in the Dunes hub, Shiba Inu, said:
“Picture yourself staring at mounds of sand shaped by winds, while feeling a sensation of heat, while smooth sand particles travel at a near distance welcoming other sand mounds, perhaps with a sense of sheltered areas behind an obstacle,” adding:
“Upon gazing beyond you discover an oasis of sorts, yet this oasis is like no other, it’s massive, it’s shaped, and welcomes an adventurous and modern place, full of glitzy architecture and cooling waters.”
Meanwhile, Shiba Inu has scheduled a fireside chat on the official Shibtoken Discord channel on October 27, 2022, at 8 PM EST. It is expected that Shiba Inu will share more details about Dunes, as well as other aspects of the canine-themed project.
