Shiba Inu (SHIB) Metaverse Advisor Marcie Jastrow addresses doubts about her Shiba Inu OG status, highlighting long-term involvement and commitment to transparency.
In a recent Twitter exchange, Marcie Jastrow, the Shiba Inu Metaverse Advisor, addressed allegations questioning her status as a Shiba Inu OG — a term used in the crypto community in the context of being an early adopter or a long-standing member of a particular project or community.
The discussion began when the official Twitter account of Shibarmy, a media outlet dedicated to Shiba Inu-related updates, shared a tweet listing several Shiba Inu OG accounts worth following. The list included Marcie Jastrow.
However, Yasei Okami, a Shiba Inu community member, expressed doubt about Jastrow’s inclusion in the category while attesting to other mentioned names. He considered her a “paid SHIB Johnny come lately spokesperson.”
Responding to the skepticism, Jastrow remarked, “Didn’t realize I needed to justify, but here goes – we have been Shib holders since my son set up his Robinhood account and told me the shibstory.”
Didn’t realize I needed to justify but here goes- we have been Shib holders since my son set up his Robinhood account and told me the #shibstory however you are correct I am not an OG but I have never claimed to be. I hope #shib is a welcoming community regardless of how long…

She clarified that she never claimed to be an OG and hoped that the Shiba Inu community would remain inclusive, regardless of the duration of someone’s involvement.
Jastrow further engaged Okami’s comments, offering to share information about her SHIB holdings and NFTs, highlighting her commitment to transparency and willingness to showcase her involvement with the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
Hey Thanks @Yasei_Okami appreciate the support. Would you also like to see my bags and nfts, or the amount of lands I have purchased. https://t.co/8yv5EHbCnh

As the Metaverse Advisor for Shiba Inu, Jastrow’s role involves providing insights, guidance, and expertise on developing and implementing Shiba Inu’s metaverse. The Crypto Basic has reported Jastrow’s numerous involvement with the SHIB community activities.
She recently confirmed that her most significant focus was designing an efficient User Interface and User Experience (UI/UX) for the SHIB Metaverse project. As The Crypto Basic previously disclosed, Jastrow met with Ted Schilowitz, Paramount Pictures’ futurist, at the 2023 SXSW festival in March. The meeting elicited speculations of an impending collaboration with Schilowitz.
