Shibarium Records Impressive Stats
Recall that the Shiba Inu team launched Shibarium in mid-August after several months of active development. Although Shibarium suffered a technical glitch hours after its launch, the team behind the L2 blockchain resolved the issue in a few days.
Since Shibarium relaunched on August 28, the network has not experienced any major glitches, as it continues to record impressive stats. For one, the total number of transactions on Shibarium is inching towards 4 million. According to data from Shibariumscan, the network has already recorded 3,904,086 (3.9 million) transactions since its debut. It also boasts more than 1.26 million addresses, with 1,619,768 (1.61 million) total blocks produced so far.
Shibarium Successes
Despite Shibarium’s outstanding feat, the network has not gained widespread adoption as many anticipated.
Meanwhile, Shibarium has recorded significant successes in exchanges integrating with the network. Last month, the Turkish cryptocurrency exchange Bitcointry integrated with Shibarium, allowing users to deposit and withdraw assets through the network.
Similarly, Australian-based crypto exchange GroveX announced plans to integrate with the network. Aside from exchanges supporting Shibarium, the network has also attracted the attention of other top crypto projects.
As reported earlier, the popular non-custodial decentralized wallet Atomic Wallet integrated the Shibarium chain onto its platform.
