Shiba Inu’s lead developer introduces a self-governing system for the cryptocurrency as part of efforts to complete Ryoshi’s vision.
Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer of Shiba Inu, published a new blog post yesterday. The blog post, dubbed Shibarium: The Foundational Blog, explained how Shiba Inu aims to complete Ryoshi’s vision. It bears mentioning that Ryoshi is Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous founder.
Completing Ryoshi’s Vision
According to the blog post, completing Ryoshi’s vision focuses on the simple mission of using Shiba Inu to save the world.
Shiba Inu’s lead emphasizes Shib’s full decentralization and the need for a self-governing structure to ensure effective operation.
Kusama explained that the team has already completed the structural design phase of completing the vision, adding that it is currently at the implementation stage.
Notably, the implementation phase is the final piece of the puzzle. Per Kusama, the implementation phase of completing Ryoshi’s vision requires different structures for creating a decentralized community.
Kusama Introduces a Self-Governing Structure for Shiba Inu
Kusama pointed out that there is a need for Shiba Inu to have a self-governing structure that has DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) and a Foundation.
Kusama explains that while the DAOs make the decisions for Shiba Inu, the Foundation executes these decisions. The team intends to ensure Shiba Inu community members are given equal rights via the DAO.
In this regard, Kusama announced that the governance of Shiba Inu has been divided into four DAOs. He noted that these DAOs represent each Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens- SHIB, BONE, LEASH, and TREAT.
Notably, the four DAOs will also govern each aspect of the system, namely:
SHIB: The first Shiba Inu ecosystem token will govern the community.
BONE: This token will govern and power the community’s technology.
LEASH: The Doge Killer token will govern the community’s protection while offering exclusivity.
TREAT: The unreleased Shiba Inu ecosystem token will govern and empower the community’s projects.
Meanwhile, the blog post comes days after Kusama teased more developments after the mainnet launch of Shibarium.
