Shiba Inu Lead Developer Launches New Website and Twitter Handle for Shibarium

Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has announced the launch of a new portal for the upcoming Layer-2 network, Shibarium.

The new website or portal, which Kusama describes as an intake system, will bolster the widespread adoption of Shiba Inu, especially the upcoming L2 network.

According to the announcement, the portal, dubbed Join Shibarium, will be a hub for content creators, developers, job seekers, and business owners.

“[…] An intake system was created so we can support those interested in doing anything for Shib!” Kusama said. 

He said the newly created intake system is the way to go towards building the Shiba Inu community, adding:

“Ideally, this intake system will allow us to find the best projects and link them with others who can help or assist.” 

Furthermore, Kusama said the Join Shibarium portal would enable the team to expand the reach of the L2 network with professional companies. It will also help the Shiba Inu team to find suitable validators, Kusama added.

Notably, Kusama clarified that developers do not need to fill out the intake form before they can start building on Shibarium once the L2 network goes live. However, the portal is imperative to keep them informed about Shibarium-related events.

Following the launch of the intake system, Kusama noted that the team behind the L2 network could start sharing Shibarium-related documents and embark on the imminent rollout of Shibarium Beta.

It bears mentioning that Kusama also launched a dedicated Twitter handle for the Shibarium portal. Launched this month, the Twitter handle has amassed 3,226 followers.

Join Shibarium’s Essential Tools

The Join Shibarium portal currently has six intake forms created to onboard interested users to the platform. 

Web3/4 With Us: This segment is for developers who want to collaborate with the Shiba Inu team on Web 3 and Web 4-related projects. 

Bring Your Business to Shibarium: This intake form allows business owners to register their businesses for widespread promotion within Shibarium.

Become a Validator: Interested Shibarium validators will be required to fill out this intake form to be selected by the team.

Work With Shib: This option is meant for job seekers interested in joining the Shiba Inu team.

Create Content With Us: This intake form is exclusive to content creators seeking to contribute to the growth of the Shiba Inu ecosystem. 

Create Stuff With Us: This segment allows developers to register to build interesting projects with the Shiba Inu team.

Notably, the team behind Shibarium has continued to make adequate preparations for the launch of the L2 network without disclosing the date for its official rollout.
