Shiba Inu lead developer Kusama updates the public on Shibarium public relaunch, submitting that the emerging FUDs show that the Shiba Inu ecosystem is thriving.
The past week was quite turbulent for the Shiba Inu ecosystem following the hurdles encountered by Shibarium on its debut. Notably, the Polygon-based L2 solution designed to scale the Shiba Inu network went offline on Thursday shortly after its mainnet takeoff.
This development, which was due to unexpectedly high traffic recorded on Shibarium, triggered several FUDs from critics. In a recent blog post, Shytoshi Kusama submitted that these escalating FUDs indicate that the Shiba Inu project is on the winning side.
“Winners focus on winning; losers focus on the winners,” part of the blog post read. The lead Shiba Inu developer implied that Shiba Inu would not be a target for critics if it weren’t succeeding. Hence, Shytoshi Kusama upheld that the team would continue to develop the Shiba Inu ecosystem to disapprove of any future FUD.

Shiba Inu’s Growth Invalidates FUDs
To further show that Shiba Inu is thriving, Kusama noted that the project has already annulled previous FUDs related to decentralization and Shibarium.
Recall that critics asserted that the L2 scaling solution would never launch. But the launch of the Shibarium mainnet during the Blockchain Futurist Conference invalidated these claims.
Also, Kusama indicated that the recent launch of the Shiba Worldpaper (or SHIBpaper) nullified the assertions that the canine-themed token project isn’t decentralized. Notably, the highly anticipated SHIBpaper outlined the numerous global problems Shiba Inu is solving.
He added: “I don’t know what the next fud will be, but I look forward to disproving it through hard work and dedication to our ethos, ecosystem, and state.”
Shibarium Public Re-Launch
It bears noting that the Shiba Inu development team is working hard to make Shibarium more stable, secure, and scalable. Per the Tuesday blog post, Kusama said, “Shibarium is now enhanced and optimized.”
As reported by The Crypto Basic, the L2 blockchain is in private mode as developers continue to conduct deep testing on the network. In addition, the lead developer revealed that a new monitoring system and additional fail-safes have been enabled on Shibarium.
Introducing these extra fail-safes, including “rate limiting at the RPC level and auto reset,” is to withstand high traffic. Speaking on the re-launch of Shibarium, he remarked: “We are almost ready to reopen to the public.”
