The highest-ever monthly community burn occurred in May 2022 when Shib Army had moved a whopping 31,059,157,423 (31.05B) SHIB to the “inferno” addresses via 1,331 separate burn transactions.
Single Wallet Burn Record of 2022:
The biggest single wallet burn this year was made by an unknown wallet on May 18th, 2022, which sent a humungous 10 billion SHIB to the dead wallet in one transaction using the official SHIB Burn Portal.
SHIB Burn in December 2022:
As per Shibburn.com, the community-led SHIB Burn initiatives collectively destroyed 919,432,457 (919.43B) SHIB through 207 separate transactions in the year’s final month.
