The Render Network has unveiled the winners of its June 2025 Render Royale competition, a monthly showcase of digital artistry using advanced rendering engines. This edition, themed ‘Urban Utopias Reimagined,’ saw artists worldwide submit futuristic and nature-inspired works, according to Render Network.
Spotlight on Creativity
Participants utilized Octane Render, Redshift, and Blender Cycles via the Render Network’s platform to bring their visions to life. The competition attracted a diverse range of entries, with judges evaluating submissions across all render engines.
Octane Render Category
In the Octane Render category, the first prize went to ‘MNEME — Light Fails Here’ by HOXID, exploring the intersection of humanity and technology. Ulli Schulz’s ‘Miiko76’ and Lásló Magyar’s ‘LA 2077’ secured second and third places, respectively, with imaginative takes on future societies.
Blender Cycles Category
‘The Utopian Lie’ by nothaslu claimed the top spot in the Blender Cycles category, depicting a dystopian future where only the elite enjoy perfection. Turan Pathan’s ‘Render CITY Reveal’ and turbojpeg_’s ‘Beanstalk City’ rounded out the winners with their innovative urban landscapes.
Redshift Category
Pi Slices’ ‘Reclaim’ triumphed in the Redshift category, envisioning a return to nature. Cody Clack’s ‘Neom’ and Eliot’s ‘Planet Utopia’ followed, each offering unique interpretations of urban utopias.
Looking Ahead
The Render Network expressed gratitude to all participants, highlighting the creativity and innovation brought forth by the artists. The upcoming July contest is themed ‘Retro Sci-Fi,’ inviting creators to explore vintage visions of the future. Participants can submit their works by July 25, 2025, for a chance to win a share of 5250 USDC.
