- Powerloom L2 offers real-time and trustworthy onchain data for Web3.
- $POWER token is now available for trading on Gate.io, MEXC, and KuCoin.
Powerloom, an open composable data layer for Web3 apps, launched its mainnet on a Layer 2 (L2) chain supported by Ethereum. The move provides a solution for the pains related to Web3: affordable and reliable, in addition to scalably on-chain data. Developers find real-time data sets within such innovative infrastructure from more than 5,300 Snapshotter nodes worldwide. These nodes have made it easier to build frictionless apps without heavy custom configurations and external oracles.
The revolutionary L2 powerloom rests on OP Stack and EigenDA, ensuring scalability and reliability for such high-throughput use cases. The network was designed to support a variety of blockchain ecosystems and has already processed more than 1 billion unique data snapshots in real-time while keeping pace with on-chain blocks. In turn, dApps operate with the most precise and reliable information.
It introduces preliminary incentives for submissions on Uniswap V2. The expansion plan aims to support multi-data markets such as Uniswap V3 and Aave V3. This is said to open many potential revenue streams and further stretch market creation.
According to Co-founder Swaroop Hegde, a step forward in catalyzing innovation while ensuring affordability and reliability despite the current Web3-centric focus towards dependable on-chain data.
$POWER Token Now Available on Leading Exchanges
Powerloom’s utility token, $POWER, was listed on the major exchanges on January 10, 2025, across Gate.io, MEXC, and KuCoin. The token will reward all the ecosystem participants by staking, node operations, and early adoption.
The users of Gate.io can interact with Powerloom L2 without high Ethereum transfer fees, while MEXC lists $POWER in its Innovation Zone with a POWER/USDT trading pair. KuCoin has also listed $POWER for trading, thereby increasing the availability of the token. It offers smooth bridging options using its native OP bridge and Relay Protocol-powered third-party bridge.
Powerloom’s real-time datasets boast more than one billion snapshots. More adoption in the domains of DeFi, GameFi, NFTs, and AI will be powered, with no sacrifices made on either the smoothness of user experience or the level of precision or speed. Powerloom has thus landed itself at the vanguard in the Web3 landscape to further push towards scalable decentralized data solutions.
