Polkadot Academy Kicks Off First JAM Course for Web3

Polkadot Blockchain Academy has recently released the JAM Course, an advanced course of study where developers get introduced to Polkadot’s new architecture; Join-Accumulate Machine, or JAM, for short. Polkadot founder Dr. Gavin Wood created the edge-of-the-deep technology that drives this program. It tailors its features for experienced Web3 developers who want to push the boundaries.

JAM replaces the relay chain and handles off-chain computation before execution. This new model supports smart contracts for Solidity, enables permissionless code execution, and processes roll-up outputs efficiently. This allows developers to avoid choosing between smart contracts and app chains. They can achieve much while requiring less flexibility.

Polkadot’s JAM Course to Train Developers in New Blockchain Tech

The JAM Course is an extension of the previous educational programs offered by Polkadot Blockchain Academy, such as the PBA Campus and the JAM Tour. It offers a deep understanding of the core components of JAM, which include the Refine, Accumulate, and OnTransfer functions. Practical experience in using JAM with Polkadot Virtual Machine and Polkadot API will be provided to participants through technical lessons, hands-on workshops, and discussions.
