OKX sponsors Manchester City’s official training kit

It’s official, the OKX exchange will sponsor Manchester City’s official training kit for the 2022-2023 season.

OKX, formerly known as OKEx, is a Seychelles-based cryptocurrency and derivatives exchange.

The exchange in March had announced its partnership with Manchester City, but developments in this collaboration were announced only yesterday.

The deal would appear to be worth $20 Million, and the club is estimated to be worth $4.25 billion instead.

OKX will be on Manchester players’ shirts

The $20 million deal will start immediately.

In fact, according to sources, the new uniforms will be worn by the men’s team as early as Monday, when Pep Guardiola’s team returns to training ahead of the new season. At the same time, the women’s team will wear the OKX logo on the field starting next month.

Also, as part of the partnership, Manchester City players will be featured in video content sponsoring OKX to educate the community and promote innovation together.

Haider Rafique, Global Chief Marketing Officer of OKX, comments on this new milestone this way:

“The real grit and perseverance is built on the training ground. This is the way we want to nurture new users on our platform. Being Man City’s Official Training Kit Partner helps us extend that mindset from the training ground over to our trading app community. We want our community to learn from that mindset and use our demo trading feature to train for the real exchange just like Man City players train before the beginning of the season. Our partnership with Man City has provided a great platform through which we have the opportunity to educate those curious about crypto and offer those already involved the training they need to participate responsibly.”
