NiceHash Introduces Kaspa Firmware to Boost ASIC Mining Efficiency by 20%

World’s Leading Bitcoin hashrate marketplace, NiceHash has released firmware optimized for Kaspa mining. The new firmware has been designed to enhance the performance of the Antminer KS series of ASICs, giving miners the best chance of higher performance. With this launch, NiceHash aims to help miners maximize their output while reducing power consumption.

Performance Improvements to Antminer KS Series

The firmware offers landmark performance improvements for compatible Antminer models, including the KS5 Pro, KS5, and KS3. Field trials prove that mining efficiency rises to 20% using the firmware together with a decrease in power consumption. This will enable the miners to run their devices better for higher returns while consuming less energy.

Most Kaspa Antminer models use CVITech control boards, which prevent custom firmware installation and affect miners. To address this, NiceHash has developed the Cracker Card, a hardware add-on that enables users to bypass these restrictions. By attaching the Cracker Card to the control board, miners can install NiceHash’s custom firmware remotely, allowing for a seamless upgrade process.

NiceHash’s Dynamic Fee Structure Based on Overclock Level

In addition, NiceHash has revised the fee policy for miners who will be using the firmware, which stands between 1% and 4% depending on the level of Overclocking. This pricing model is friendly to miners while at the same time affording them the highest possible income in mining Kaspa through NiceHash pools.

NiceHash has provided miner guides that help them install custom firmware to enhance their devices. It has also announced that Cracker Cards will soon be available to mining farms with less than 100 machines through the NiceHash shop. Invested users can also contact NiceHash for help regarding the procurement of Cracker Cards and the enhancement of the machines.
