Proof, the Web3 firm behind the blockbuster popular Moonbirds NFT collection, is releasing its latest digital art series favoring its loyal collectors. The collection will comprise 10,000 pieces from 22 designers, including Beeple.
The latest collection, Moonbirds: Diamond Exhibition, will comprise 10,000 digital artworks by 22 artists, like Beeple, Daniel Isles (aka Dirty Robot), Summer Wagner, Terrell Jones, and Michael Sidofsky. Such works will only be accessible to Moonbirds’ owners who have attained Diamond Nest rank by staking their NFTs with the firm for a specified time.
From then, all Diamond Nesters who staked their Moonbirds during the first week of the nesting program’s launch will go through a similar rank preference voting and airdrop procedure, and so forth, after around 10,000 artworks have been given.
To mark the collection’s debut, Proof will also throw a party with Beeple for Moonbirds holders at NFT NYC on Thursday, when the artist will sketch one of his Diamond Exhibition paintings in person.
The development comes when Proof and other NFT businesses continue exploring methods to keep their NFT holders content and engaged.
Proof has an uphill fight in that respect. In February, the corporation discontinued its major annual meeting, Proof of Conference, claiming a lack of interest. Several Moonbirds holders were furious by the announcement since attendance at the conference had previously been marketed as one of the key privileges connected with having a Moonbirds NFT.
Yuga Labs, the $4 billion firm behind leading NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club, similarly offers admittance to ApeFest, an annual meeting of Bored Ape holders that’s included performances from high-profile pop stars such as Eminem and Snoop Dogg, as a primary perk of owning an Ape.
The BAYC collection sales, as per OpenSea charts, have decreased drastically, recording a 0% drop in one month. The trading volume decreased by 60% as the floor price dropped by 12% within the same period as of press time.
This week, Yuga launched a collection of rare jewelry items designed in cooperation with Gucci, made accessible exclusively to holders of particular NFTs inside Otherside, Yuga’s ape-themed metaverse game. The offer lasted barely 24 hours and garnered nearly $5.7 million per Yuga.
