Mode Launches First Perpetuals DEX Built Natively on Layer 2 with AI and Orderly Network Integration

Mode Trade, a native perpetuals DEX, has been introduced by Mode, an AI-focused Ethereum Layer 2 that prioritizes user growth and composability. It is powered by the unified trading infrastructure of Orderly Network.

This is the first time a Layer 2 chain has combined Orderly’s extensive liquidity and backend technologies with Mode’s smooth user experience to vertically integrate and establish a perpetuals exchange directly on its platform.

Arjun Arora, Chief Operating Officer of Orderly stated:

Giga stakers with 400,000 veMODE or more may access unique AI functionality via Mode Trade, which is now active for early users. In the next weeks, a restricted trader whitelist will be implemented.
