- Trading Platforms only welcome the Terra Revival Plan’s Airdrop
- Kraken applies different nomenclature for the new blockchain and token.
The list of exchange platforms that are going to carry out the new Terra blockchain airdrop goes on expanding. The recent additions to that list are MEXC, Kraken, and Binance. All the above platforms have released official announcements regarding their Airdrop execution on their sites and Twitter accounts.
But the listing of new Luna in the trading sites has not yet been declared. The exchange sites made clear that every user will be able to access the new luna once the airdrop gets completed and indications will be sent to users.
Exchange Details
Binance and MEXC are following the ticker nomenclature as proposed by the Terra Ecosystem Revival Plan 2 documentation, the old blockchain will be known as Terra Classic, and old coins Luna and UST will be mentioned as LUNC and USTC, whereas the new Terra token will be named as LUNA. But in Kraken, the new blockchain is called Terra 2.0 and the token will be indicated as LUNA2, the old network will remain in the same name.
Binance states:
“U.S. persons, entities and sanctioned countries are not eligible to receive this airdrop”
A major point to be focused on in the Binance announcement is the restriction during airdrop on the US and sanctioned countries.
