Cryptocurrency analysis platform Coinglass has announced the 10 largest liquidation events in history.
According to data, the largest crypto liquidation of all time occurred on October 10, 2025.
This incident, triggered by new US tariffs on China, resulted in the liquidation of $19.16 billion in positions. This figure surpassed even the major market crashes of 2021.
Previous largest liquidations in 2021 included those on April 18th for $9.94 billion and on May 19th for $9.01 billion.
