By offering fractional shares and integrating stock trading with its existing crypto services, Kraken enhances market accessibility. This approach aims at bridging digital and traditional finance, attracting a diverse range of investors.

Arjun Sethi, Kraken’s Co-CEO, noted that expanding into equities is a “natural step” for them, which paves the way for the tokenization of assets. This development may pivot Kraken as a strong competitor to other leading brokerage firms, emphasizing the blend of crypto and equity trading.
