Immobiliare.it, Italy’s leading real estate platform, has embarked on a significant transformation to become an AI-native company. This initiative aims to enhance the user and agent experience by improving interactions with property listings, according to ElevenLabs.

Utilizing ElevenLabs for AI Integration

In a bid to solve persistent issues in property marketplaces, Immobiliare.it has developed a conversational voice agent using ElevenLabs’ Agents Platform. The AI agent addresses the problem of spam calls for sellers while ensuring buyers receive timely and accurate responses. This voice agent operates 24/7, communicates in natural Italian, and was developed in a matter of days.

From JSON to Voice Interaction

The primary objective was to create an assistant capable of processing listing data in JSON format, engaging in natural dialogue with users, and providing a structured summary of these interactions. Initially, the team considered using OpenAI APIs but shifted to ElevenLabs for greater flexibility and Italian language support. The integration process was swift, with the prototype being set up in just five minutes, subsequently gaining rapid approval for further development.

Efficient Development Process

The development followed a two-stage process: prototyping and production. The prototype utilized n8n and ElevenLabs to create a backend system that processed voice input and generated responses using live listing data. Once stable, the production phase involved implementing a scalable backend integration, allowing for rapid iteration and minimal engineering requirements.

Gaia Businaro, AI Product Manager at Immobiliare.it, emphasized the speed of feedback and iteration: “With ElevenLabs, our feedback loop went from weeks to hours, enabling us to refine the agent’s behavior swiftly.”

Enhanced User and Agent Experience

The AI agent has significantly improved user response quality and lead qualification. Users now receive immediate, accurate, and human-like responses, while the agent filters inquiries to identify serious prospects. Adoption rates have soared, with over 70% of sellers opting in, and lead qualification rates increasing from 19% to 63%. Additionally, 80% of users have rated the feature positively, with many preferring voice interaction over text for sharing personal details.

Paolo Sabatinelli, Chief Product Officer, remarked on the success: “These early outcomes confirm that the ElevenLabs-powered voice assistant is the right solution, allowing us to scale this approach across more listings.” The result is a win-win situation, delivering quick information to users and better-qualified leads to agents.
